Plagiarism Statement

The editorial board of Innovation Transport Technologies and Urban Modelling is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and is considered a serious violation of scholarly conduct.

Definition of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, ideas, images, or data from other sources without proper acknowledgment.

  • Reusing significant portions of one’s own previously published work (self-plagiarism) without citation or justification.

  • Paraphrasing another author’s work without proper attribution.

  • Submitting content from AI-generated or third-party sources as original research without disclosure.

Plagiarism Screening:

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software (e.g., iThenticate). The similarity report is reviewed by the editorial team prior to initiating peer review.

  • Manuscripts with high similarity indexes or containing unattributed content will be rejected or returned for revision.

  • In confirmed cases of academic misconduct, appropriate actions will be taken, including retraction of the article and notification of relevant institutions or funding agencies.

Author Responsibility:

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for properly citing all sources used. Submission of a manuscript implies that it is original, has not been plagiarized, and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to the journal’s plagiarism policy and to undergo any necessary checks throughout the editorial process.
