Dear Authors!
Before submitting a manuscript to the editorial office of the journal Innovation Transport Technologies and Urban Modelling, please carefully review the policy on academic integrity—any violations will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript and possible sanctions against the author.
We recommend reading the “Guidelines for Authors and Translators of Scientific Articles to be Published in English” (see EASE), which guide the editorial process.
Your manuscript must demonstrate academic value, research significance, originality, and practical relevance. The text must be clearly structured, have a scientific style, and fit the journal’s scope.
Types of manuscripts accepted for consideration:

Research Article – original work with experimental or theoretical results (structure: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions).

Review Article – analytical overview of a problem based on scientific publications (structure: Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Synthesis, Discussion, Conclusions).

Theoretical Article – theoretical research within the journal’s scope (structure: Abstract, Introduction, Theoretical Foundations, Results, Discussion, Conclusions).

Book Review – critical analysis of a new scientific book (1–3 pages, in free form).

Biographical Note – material about a scientist or organization for an anniversary (1–3 pages, in free form).

Letter to the Editor, Editorial, Correction, Retraction, etc. (by decision of the Editor-in-Chief).
Article Submission
The manuscript is submitted via the article submission form together with a signed cover letter. The editorial office reserves the right to check the level of English for articles to be published in English.
Main structural elements of the manuscript:

Title – concise, specific, without abbreviations (up to 15 words).

Author(s) – first and last name, academic degree/rank, affiliation, city, country, e-mail. Ukrainian names should be transliterated.

Abstract (150–250 words) – concise summary: relevance, aim, methods, results, conclusions.

Keywords (5–10) – phrases reflecting the content.
-
Introduction – justification of the topic, statement of the problem.
-
Literature Review – analysis of previous research, with emphasis on international sources.
-
Aim – one sentence that specifically formulates the purpose of the study.
-
Methods – description of applied methods (detailed for new/modified ones).
-
Ethical Standards – (if applicable) specify how anonymity, informed consent, ethics approval, etc. were ensured.

Results – presentation of obtained data, with tables, figures, diagrams (without interpretation).
-
Discussion – analysis, comparison with other studies, interpretation.
-
Conclusions – summary, scientific novelty, recommendations for practice and further research.

Author Contribution – roles distribution according to CRediT (see CRediT Taxonomy).

Acknowledgements – individuals or institutions that contributed but are not co-authors.
-
References – formatted according to APA Style (in English or with transliteration).

Supplementary Materials – large tables, figures, photos, diagrams (if available).
Formatting Requirements:

Manuscript: 4,000–6,000 words (short communication – 1,000–2,000 words).

Format: Microsoft Word (.DOC/.DOCX).
-
Tables, diagrams, figures from other authors – only with written permission.
-
The text must comply with the manuscript requirements.
Article Review Process

Submission
Fill out the manuscript submission form on the website, add a cover letter, and ensure all attachments (tables, figures) are in editable format. -
Peer Review
All materials undergo “double-blind” peer review. Authors receive reviewer comments and may provide a substantiated response to reviewer remarks. -
Article Processing Charge (APC)
No publication fee is charged to authors. -
Proofreading
After typesetting, the author receives a version for review and correction. The final decision on style, formatting, and size of illustrations remains with the editorial office.Personal Data Usage
The submitted data (name, e-mail, address, experience, feedback) are used only for:
